Steam plays a vital role in several key processes during tire manufacturing. From the initial stage of rubber compounding, steam is utilized to preheat the Banbury mixer, ensuring that the rubber compound is uniformly mixed at the optimal temperature. Later, in the calendering and extrusion processes, steam continues to heat the equipment, assisting the rubber compound in taking the desired shapes. During the tire building process, the steam-heated building machine brings together various semi-finished components to form the preliminary structure of the tire.
